Everything Festive Note Cards for Beginners – get started with stamping with stamps, ink, paper and blank note cards (and envelopes). Stampin’ Up! has provided some samples and step-by-step instructions with one stamp set and three cards for a number of festive occasions. These cards are good for beginners. They are relatively easy to create and will enable you to have an enjoyable experience as a new stamper. Ready to give it a try? Great! Let’s get started so you can enjoy your results.

The three cards use sentiments from a single stamp set from the 2019 holiday catalog (page #35) called Everything Festive. With this set of seven cling stamps you will not be at a loss for words (or stamps!). Celebrate Halloween, Christmas, New Year’s, and Valentine’s Day all with one stamp set!

Since it is almost the season, let’s start with a Christmas card. The card has the sentiment “Merry & Bright”, along with some fresh and cheery colors. The sponge is used to apply ink for the background, you don’t send it with the card, unless of course you would like to  😉 .

Instructions for the Merry & Bright Card

  1. Add Coastal Cabana ink to the front of the card with a Stamping Sponge.
  2. Adhere two strips of Designer Series Paper horizontally across the center of the card.
  3. Stamp the greeting in Real Red ink on a scrap piece of Whisper White Cardstock. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals on top of the two paper strips.

The next card is “From Our Home To Yours”, and could be used for many occasions. The colors in the sample remind me of fall, but with a change of colors and embellishments, it would be a great holiday greeting, and could be a general greeting, or even used for sympathy.
