Today I am introducing the Pressed Petals Suite by Stampin’ Up! When I first saw these products I thought they were pretty, but I wasn’t over the moon. But then I saw the Pressed Petals Specialty Washi tape, and I was a “goner”. I love washi tape, and with this tape you can make flowers. Really! Flowers out of washi tape – what could be better? Then, as I looked into this suite, I realized that the colors are luscious, the stamp set includes sweet and useful sentiments, and there is a lot more going on than washi flowers. This suite is gorgeous!
I am excited to share these products with you. Today I will introduce the suite, and then I will follow up in later blog posts with additional samples and materials/supplies from Stampin’ Up!
Let’s start with a Stampin’ Up! video, but first, take a break and grab a beverage because this video in 7.27 minutes long. I know, I know it sounds long, but it is informative and fun to hear about the origin of these products, see close-ups and learn a little bit about how they were made.
How did you like the video? What do you think of the Designer Series Paper? Is it gorgeous, or just plain pretty? LOL! And how about the embossing folder? To literally emboss love notes onto paper – so sweet. Did you notice that she used a washi tape petal as a book mark in the journal? Very clever!
Something she said in the video struck a chord “stamping is more than paper and ink” – it is about evoking certain emotions in the recipients of our cards”. I have found this to be true. I love making the cards and projects, but it is even more fun to see the elation of people when I give or send them a card. The “you made this?” fills me with pride. And, I have had people tel me that they saved cards that I made and gave to them several years ago. That is why we do this – to bring joy to others.
Below are the products included in the suite. If you want them all, you can buy the full Pressed Petals Suite Bundle in one single purchase and receive 10% off the stamp set and dies, plus one each of the other items from the suite.
Or, you may want to consider the Path of Petals Bundle with 10% off the stamp set and dies. You can then use the stamps and dies with supplies from your stash. Click on each image to learn more about the products in my online store.
And last, but certainly not least for today’s post are the products used in the Stampin’ Up!’s sample 3-D washi flower card.
Delicate. Simple. Elegant. Three words used to define this suite. It is truly about love and gratitude, and there are so many applications. Who wouldn’t like to receive a card made with these products?
Thank you for visiting my blog today. I hope you enjoyed learning about these products. Please check back this week for more Pressed Peals samples and supplies, leave a comment, or reach out with questions.
