Introducing The Ride With Me BundleIntroducing the Ride With Me Bundle

Introducing the Ride With Me Bundle is the first of two “Ride With Me” posts. Today I show you the products and a Stampin’ Up! video, then I share the supplies needed to make a greeting card and a gift bag. I will follow up with a second post with samples of the awesome 3-D truck.

Have you seen this bundle from the 2019-2020 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog? You can find it on page #55 of the annual catalog. Did you look at it closely?  I scrolled by it many times because I thought it was just for kids – big mistake! Now with autumn approaching, and the holiday catalog launching soon, I looked at the set again, and I saw a world of possibilities – birthday cards for children, masculine cards (for collectors of antique trucks), theme parties, encouragement, framed art for home decor, and favors. I might use the 3-D trucks for tokens of thanks for the carpenters and construction crew working on the remodel of our house.

Offering endless possibilities, there are two products in this bundle: the Ride With Me stamp set (with nineteen stamps) and the coordinating Truck Ride dies. You can buy each item individually, or purchase them as a bundle with 10% off full price.

Stampin’ Up! created a video to introduce the Ride With Me Bundle. Click here to watch the video for a description of the bundle and instructions for assembling the 3-D truck.

This sample card from Stampin’ Up! screams “celebration” with the balloons blowing in the wind. You can use this for many different celebrations – promotion, birthday, wedding or shower, graduation, and lots of other occasions. I love the fun and casual vibe with a fun, yet powerful sentiment. “Ride with the doors wide open” is great advice to remind us to take advantage of life.

To make this card, you will need a die cutting machine like a Big Shot or similar. Instructions to make the card are in the above Stampin’ Up! video; you can also access the video here. The images are stamped in Black Tuxedo Memento ink, then colored with Stampin’ Blends. They used both light and dark of each color of blends in the sample, so i included the combo packs in the supply list below. Individual markers (light or dark) are also available.

Here are the products used to make this card. Click on each item to learn more or to purchase in my online store.

This Stampin’ Up! sample bag will be a keepsake by everyone who receives it. Cute for a birthday gift, it could also be used for favors and giveaways. You can make it in various sizes and use it for wine or other adult gifts. You will need a die cutting machine, such as a Big Shot for this project.

To make the bag, purchase Kraft bags and shreddie, as well as a small, ~1/8″ hole punch. Stamp the trucks with Staz On ink, then use the Truck Ride thinlet die to cut the side of the truck, and metallic brads for wheels. Refer to the video above for instructions on cutting the side of the truck. Then decorate using the Stampin; Up! products pictured below.
