Jar of Sunflowers Birthday Card is a greeting card made with Stampin’ Up! products. I like the bright and happy bouquet framed with layers of card stock and floral paper. I added lots and lots of layers that coordinate with the paper, and I used Stampin’ Blends to color the bouquet in the same colors.
I used Memento black ink to stamp the bouquet, then I colored the flowers with Stampin’ Blends in the colors from the flowers on the paper. I added small “pops” of pink and red flowers with Stampin’ Blends. After coloring the flowers, I cut around the bouquet using paper snips. Trimming out the bouquet was easier than I thought it would be, so give it a try!
I stamped the mason jar vase in Misty Moonlight, the same color as the card base, then I used the Jar Punch to cut it out. I also used Misty Moonlight ink to stamp the “happy birthday” on the top of a white panel, then adhered the vase and the flowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals below the stamped sentiment. I added all of the layers to the card base, and adhered a white panel on the inside of the card. The result is a jar of happy sunflowers that I look forward to putting in the mail for a friend!
