Ride With Me Bundle Part TwoRide With Me Bundle Part Two

Ride With Me Bundle Part Two is the second post that introduces a terrific stamp set and die bundle from the Stampin’ Up! 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog. In a previous post I shared an instructional video for the Ride With Me stamp set and the Truck Ride dies, showing sample projects from Stampin’ Up!. You can see that post here.

Today I am providing information about and supplies needed to make awesome 3-D trucks out of card stock. The trucks could not be cuter, and you can decorate them for so many occasions in so many ways. They would be great to hold Halloween and birthday treats, for theme parties, party favors, place settings, and just-because gifts. What about tailgating centerpieces in school colors? I am picturing black and gold for the Iowa Hawkeyes! How about the people that service your automobile? Or auto-body repair, although I hope you do not need that.

Although the truck looks complicated and the die is reminiscent of a puzzle, these little trucks are easy to make, and the decor can be as simple or as elaborate as you would like. The dies include a die-cut pattern to create the entire 3-D truck in record time. The finished size is 3 1/2″ x 1 1/4′ x 1 1/2″, and they are a good project for beginners as well as for children. You will need a die cutting machine, such as a Big Shot to cut out the shape and pattern for the truck.

If it still looks complicated, click here for instructions in the video from Stampin’ Up!.

Today’s samples use both the Ride With Me Stamp Set and the Truck Ride Dies. If you purchase both of them as a bundle, Ride With Me Bundle, you save 10%. Click the bundle image below for more information and to purchase in my online store.

Loads of Cheer
Ride With Me Bundle Part Two

This truck is made from Cherry Cobbler card stock with windows from Shimmery White card stock. You can use scraps for the other pieces, and adorn the truck to your liking. You can include a small load of peppermint candies and it is ready for the holidays. Make it in other colors and use it for other events. The stamped sentiment “sending you loads of Christmas cheer” was cut into pieces to decorate the candy bag.

Truck Ride Dies

Ride With Me Part Two

I think we owned this truck earlier in my life, but we just called it green since we didn’t know it was Coastal Cabana!  And this truck is much cuter than the real-life old one! This truck is ready for fall with the pumpkins and haystacks in the back. You could add some candy corn and pumpkin candies, or other fall treats. You will need a sheet of card stock for the die cut truck, but otherwise you can use paper scraps. Stampin’ Blends in both light and dark shades were used to color and shade the truck. The colors are below. To make the haystacks, run a 1 ½” x 4” piece of So Saffron through a Big Shot or other embossing machine with the Subtle Impressions Embossing Folder. Use paper snips to cut small strips on each side without cutting all the way thru. Roll the paper, secure with trim, fray the strips, and voila!
