Sea Horse Birthday CardSea Turtle Birthday Card The Stamp Coach

The sea horse birthday card is made with products from the Whale of a Time Suite from Stampin’ Up! I have made several cards with the Whale of a Time products; you can find them in the gallery section of this site. The Whale of a Time Designer Series Paper is so gorgeous that the cards basically make themselves. This is my first time with the sea horses, and I was able to repeat the patterns in the paper with the sea horse stamp on the tag and on the inside of the card.

This is a great project for beginners as it requires the basics – stamps inks and paper. The only tools needed are a paper trimmer, scissors, and the scalloped tag topper punch. You can make this card in mere minutes. And if you are wondering, I do have other stamp setts and products to share with you, in addition to the Whale of a Time Suite! The other products are also wonderful, but I love this set, and I enjoy showing you these beautiful products and their versatility. 😉

To make the card, I cut the label (one green and one white layer) with the Scalloped Tag Topper punch, and punched both ends of both labels. I then stamped the “Happy Birthday” sentiment from the Zany Zebras stamp set in Pacific Point ink, and three sea horses from the Whale Done stamp set in Pool Party ink on the top label. I then threaded the Pool Party ribbon through the top, stamped layer and tied a bow on the left side, and glued it onto the white punched label. Three rhinestones top off the seahorses on the label, along with a stamped sea horse on the inside panel. And, there you have a quick and easy sea horse birthday card!
